Solution
Automating the test cases using Robotic Process Automation needed to emulate human actions and interacting with and verifying the internal changes applied through the IAM cloud solution UI.Integrating UiPath workflows in the CI/CD pipeline through PowerShell commands was the solution at hand. Dedicated cloud machine to run automation test cases and generate and email reports to the stakeholders.
Outcomes
- Near zero chances of skipping test cases and increased prospects of finding functionality break
- 50% reduction in test cases execution time, along with additional checks that were not previously performed
